A czechdesign.cz nevű non-profit szervezet 2008 márciusában biennálét szervez Design Match címmel. A biennálét először cseh és szlovákiai résztvevőkkel, 2006 márciusában a prágai Nemzeti Galériában szervezték meg(http://designmatch.cz/eng-ita.html). A 2008-as kiállításon szertnék, ha Szlovákián és Csehországon kívül Ausztria és Magyarország is részt venne, ehhez keresnek együttműködő partnert, kurátort. CZECHDESIGN.CZ organizes exhibitions, workshops and lectures for designers and public. Our main activity is co-organizing of an international design biennale DESIGN MATCH which is under the aegis of Design Centre of Czech Republic. CZECHDESIGN.CZ in cooperation with art&interior (AC EXPO) and with Atelier of Design, Academy of Fine Art and Design in Bratislava, professor Ferdinand Chrenka organized large design exhibition DESIGN MATCH which has been presented in the National Gallery, Prague in March 2006. This exhibition showed the best in all branches of design. We put one exhibit of Czech designer and one of Slovak design together. This was a truly rare opportunity to see the creations of students and professionals from both countries standing face to face. The name „Design Match” is not random – it was real match or friendly unique confrontation design from two countries. This exhibition was really successful and the organisers and co-organisers would like to continue the DESIGN MATCH 2008 but with the involvement of other middle and eastern European countries. We brought an idea of exhibition among Hungary, Slovakia, Austria and Czech Republic. We are really keen for exhibition of these four counties because of historical integration of the Austria-Hungarian Monarchy, because of everything what we have had and what we have in common and also unique middle Europe exhibition.
We are finding a partner in Hungary which would be able to provide finding exhibits in Hungary. We would like to move the exhibition from one participating country to another one and show it in every of these four countries. If you are interested in you could be a trustee for Hungarian part or a co-organizer, in a better way, with the exhibition space and sharing in financial resource just for a part of it. We are going to ask for a grant for this project as well. Because exhibition in Prague will start at time of huge commercial venue art&interior which is very popular in here. We expect also wide visit-rate and good opportunities for sponsors and partners. We also guarantee good press campaign in Czech Republic and Slovakia. There is enough time for organizing; 1. exhibition will start in the end of March 2008.
Please think about the possibility of our collaboration. It could be unique opportunity for all participant counties. We need someone in Hungary who would like to cooperate on this promising project, someone who is able to supervise organizing in Hungary, who will be able to find exhibits, provide exhibition space and sponsorship for his part of exhibition.” Jana Vinsova
